About
"We may, perhaps, imagine that the creation was finished long ago. But that would be quite wrong. It continues still more magnificently, and at the highest levels of the world." - Fr. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
Divergence and Dialogue was established in January 2024 as a creative research initiative, aimed at exploring contemporary issues within ongoing creation-evolution discourse. We aim to offer critical, comprehensive, and a faithful perspective that goes beyond the simple "science vs religion" outlook often adopted in the discussion. We recognized a gap in existing resources on young earth creationism: many were superficial, biased towards specific philosophical paradigms like naturalism, or archaic monuments to past debates, posing significant challenges for general use. We say a need that would require an ambitious response and decided to make solving it our primary endeavor.
As of now, our team is engaged in various in-house projects, with a specific focus on developing an extensive, itemized index that meticulously examines both the theological and scientific models of young earth creationism. We are also actively publishing professional research on novel topics within familiar domains, addressing topics that we have yet to see tackled. Additionally, we've also begun publishing original content weekly on our blog and are in the advanced stages of launching a YouTube channel.
Our immediate goals include prioritizing website design and integration while updating our research, blog, and YouTube content. This "About" page will be updated as we progress, with this soft roll-out preceding our main launch later this year. To keep up with what we're up to, subscribe and follow - for questions or feedback, feel free to email us at divergenceanddialogue[at]gmail.com.
